• Schedule: League play will begin April 30. Aeration will occur the following Tuesday (May 6, done by an outside company), so we will take May 7/8 off to give the course a week to recover. I thought this was a better option than having the first week of league RIGHT after aeration. We will play July 2/3 this year. Rain dates if needed are August 6/7, Position Nights August 12*/13, and Round-Up August 16th. (*Note this is a Tuesday/Wednesday, due to HS Golf Match on the 14th. If no rain out dates are needed, we can play position nights the week before.)
• Weekly greens fees will remain the same from 2024, $13 a week for non-OUGC members, $5 a week for members. This WILL go up in 2026 - they are raising the greens fees this year for public play but have agreed to keep ours the same for one more year.
• Riding Cart fees have increased to $9 per round. FYI, my understanding is that “Walking Wednesdays” will still be a thing for 2025.
• Course-owned push carts will now be FREE to use.
• Native areas will be present again this year. Potential of expansion of these areas between holes 1 and 2, as well as between holes 7 and 8. We will continue to play these (and bunkers) under Rule 16.1, “Abnormal Course Conditions.”
• New irrigation systems have been deployed throughout the course, including electronic systems. This means hopefully more control and better watering throughout the course, and fewer floods when things go wrong!
